WWII watches and half-mast trousers

Web MonkeyGear, Life

The NEC show wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting. There were loads of half-naked birds and loads of trick bikes. But the most impressive thing was one of the new TT sponsors, Graham watches. These are on offer to the winner of each of the TT races, and are the trickest watches I’ve ever seen. They where originally designed for fighter pilots in the second world war, I’ve put a pic up, but you need to see one in the flesh to apreciate it. Oh, and they cost £4600.

I ended up at the MCN awards do. I was meant to be dressed in a fancy dinner jacket suit, but could only manage to dig out a dickie bow, half-mast trousers and some trainers. I looked like I’d been dragged through a hedge backwards, but it was still a good night. Going shopping for a suit is on the job to do list!

And Red Torpedo have worked with Hydrex Honda to have a big stand selling gear, including my branded stuff.
