Now then, how’s it going? Well, still out in Spain for the thick end of this week. It’s a hard life, eh? Well after a few days of crap weather at Almeria circuit, we ended up getting a decent day on our last day. Nowt special, still a bit windy but loads better than it has been. I ended up getting loads of laps done and am starting to get a feel for how how me and the bikes are getting on.

So, we are a bit further north in Spain now at a track called Guadix not far from Granada. Harris, Easton and me got out at six tonight (Sunday) for an hour to get a feel for the track, it’ll do me. I’ve not ridden here before, it’s well suited to an English style of riding motorbikes, it’s a very stop and start track and not much over a minute long. So I’ll get stuck in over the next few days and get cracking. I’ll let you know how I get on.

In between the riding I’ve been getting well into my reading. I’m into autobiographies and this one will takes some beating. I’d put it in front of Mick Doohan’s Thunder from Down Under. I know they aren’t proper biog’s but you know what I mean. I’m well into the music of The Stone Roses and Ian Brown and to learn of everything that went on behind the scenes is an education. Any other recommendations?
