Guy knew he’d have his work cut out training to join up with the firefighters in Grimsby and he wasn’t wrong – from learning how to deal with extreme heat, to confronting the impact of the traumatic experiences that our service personnel have to engage with on a regular basis.
Never one to shy away from getting stuck in, Guy got to grips with the demanding job and his 24-hour shift included some potentially life-threatening call outs…and a bucket of very cold water.
Needless to say, Guy was proper impressed, and wet through at the end.
