The 2008 Bennetts British Superbike Championship concludes this weekend with the final round at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit whereby Hydrex Bike Animal Honda riders, James Ellison and Guy Martin, aim to round the season off in style.
When the series last visited the Kent track back in May, albeit on the full GP circuit, both riders came away with a decent points haul and the pair will be looking for a repeat of those performances for Shaun Muir’s team.
Guy Martin: “It doesn’t seem five minutes ago that the season was just starting, full of high expectations, but it’s just not happened for me this year. I’m looking forward to getting some better results at Brands Hatch as we really need a tonic to carry us into the winter months. But come Sunday evening, it will be a case of ‘win or lose, we’ll have some booze.'”
