I’ve got a couple of folk to thank for me some new music. Gary Inman for bringing me to my senses and getting me a couple of The Surgens albums. That’s proper stuff is that. Oh, and John Urry for giving me a couple of The King’s albums. That bloke is a legend. He does an Elvis take-off on loads of different bands and artists. Take my word for it, proper music.
I’ve tried converting a few people to the Cold War Kids. The bloke from this band looks the spitting image of Quentin Tarantino. My mates aren’t feeling the music like i am, but stick with it and you’ll see where I’m coming from. The random piano and druming is unmistakable. Robbers and Cowards is the album you want.
