“Last weekend scores of mountain bikers braved torrential downpours to see the world class TT star, Guy Martin, officially open the new trails and facilities at Gisburn Forest.

Guy is well known to many as a keen biker so he was the perfect choice to cut the “ribbon” (race tape) to open the new facilities at the Forest Hub. Hope have been involved with the centre for a number of years now with the development of the “Hope line”. We fully support and appreciate the time and work that the Gisburn Forest Trail Builders have devoted to make the centre the great place to ride it is now.

The centre now includes a new car park, a café, new sections of trail and a special skills area for riders to hone their technique – which perfectly compliment the existing trails. Gisburn now offers great trails for all abilities from families and children to the more advanced trail rider.

If you’re thinking of visiting the centre you can find an updated trail map here and more information on visiting the centre here.
