“Forget about it,” said in an Italian-American accent, sounds like that famous line from the film Donnie Brasco. I’m not one for shedding tears at films, but if I was to, the end of that film would be the one.
This was all set off by a visit at work yesterday A couple of lads from a really arty motorcycle magazine from Italy came. They were really trendy lads, doing some arty stuff with the three of us (me, Dad and our Stewart) in the truck garage. Now, nine times out of ten, an interview to me consists of a similar set of questions, how fast does it go? When am i going to win a TT? Does racing scare you? What’s the current price of fish? So as you can tell it doesnt take long for me to get bored. This interview couldn’t have been any different. IT went along the lines of ‘How many women have i shagged? Do I believe in God? Do i like sex? And what is my favorite film? It just happend that Mareno doing the interview was on the same wavelength, and that’s where the “forget about it” got brought up. If you havent seen Donnie Brasco get a look.
So it was an educational day.
Other business, Jon Urry was telling me that a donkey can see all of it’s four feet while looking forward, and it’s all to do with Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution. I’ll explain later.
Do you think i should make a point of doing a blog every week, or is random better?
Oh, and I had a day or two in Spain last week. I thought southerners made a song and dance about a bit of snow, well, not in the same league as the Spaniards. I honestly thought that some sort of nuclear armageddon had taken place. Oh no, just a touch of snow.

Don’t know about the donkey’s feet bit, but I do know you can hear its “EEE AWE” thing for nearly 2 miles! Also heard that if you ride on the back of a pig, it goes in a big loop and takes you back to where you started, could give it a try if you get a spare afternoon! On blog times front, donkeys, snow and the mafia, random chap, very very random.
Once a week would be fantastic, hearing about what is going on is great. Doing random entries is by the nature of the word all over the place.

The existing reciprocal health care agreement between the Isle of Man and UK Governments will remain in place until 31st March 2010. This agreement entitles visitors and residents to free medical treatment when in the UK or Isle of Man.
From 1st April 2010, the following agreement will be in place:
The Isle of Man Health Service is not part of the UK NHS and, except for immediately necessary and emergency treatment which does not require admission to hospital, visitors to the Isle of Man (including UK residents) who require treatment will be expected to pay for it. It is therefore strongly recommended that all visitors to the Isle of Man ensure that they have appropriate insurance in place which will cover any treatment costs and repatriation to the UK by air ambulance if that should prove necessary.

You just have to get the race dates up lad – thats all that matters really. I can sort of guess what ones you will be doing but you know would be better if you had them up.
Did you hear the possible bad news – they may be removing one of your man corners at Armoy with an off road chicane. Like im not sure of the set up as i really havent been in Armoy for a few months but its gonna go into one of the fields and remain the same width as the road. Now dont let that put you off Armoy as its the best race of the year in my opinion, and its not because im local its because it was the best days racing last season until the tragic accident.
The other thing is whats your sponsor situation like – maybe its too early to know proper like but i was just wondering if you had any and then could sort of visualize the bike in a very nerdy way.

Hunty, he’s already on twitter! Alot of the racing boys are. Eugene Laverty is my favourite on twitter at the moment, they all seem to be quite into it, must be quicker than doing a blog. Shakey and Camier are over in Valencia testing so you get to know whether they are getting out on the track, where do you get that up to date information from on other websites. Guy’s last one was still waiting for his car! I’m hoping he’s going to ge more into it especially when his racing season starts properly, especially at TT. You can see I have too much time at work to keep looking at them but it’s fun.

Well Guy. Bit unreIated ! but I saw your comments on the RC45 that you tried out in PB. I reccomend the ’94 TT DVD if you haven’t seen it. It was my first TT and the sight of Hizzy on that thing was mind bending.
