It is a stonking car chap, sounds great too, she drew the crowds at Oli’s Mount, but where’s the flames and the leopard skin? Useless fact for you, the main engine on NASA’s saturn 5 Apollo booster was pushing an estemated 160 million horse power, that chief, is a lot of ponies!

Don’t get that mag in the states…but the article in Jan PB is rad…and the pic is front page PIC is epic…That’s actually why I bought the mag to begin with. LOL!

  8. Lis says:

Bought the mag just for the article. It’s a great car. (Just out of interest, have you ever been tempted by a really nice Harley, Guy?)

    Hey Guy,
I read the article there. When I saw the post that you had bought the car I was shocked at first, I was thinking wow, never realised this guy was so wealthy. I was actually a bit dissapointed for some weird reason, I guess I always loved your underdogesque, understated style…

After reading the article I am so impressed, you’re hilarious and inspirational…I hope you enjoy every moment of it. I hope you’ve been training hard over the winter?…and remember if you want anyone to do some xc or dh with in Ireland drop me a line,
    Tom

Hay Guy great pic of ya in your trusty overalls and cuppa rosy lee

I recon it’s about time you started crackin out your own ‘Guy Martin overalls’ with a ‘cuppa tea’ badge on there somewhere and other stuff ;0) I’d buy a set!!!

That’s a great idea, Jimbo! I’d definitely buy a pair.

    Hey chap,
We are a bit behind ‘down’ here (in Anstey land), the mag has only just come out, and i have just been standing there in the local mag shop reading it, and having a good giggle to myself…”…fingers like sausage rolls”. Hahahaha, the Farmers Daughter need never go hungry;)))
You certainly have good taste young man, all though i think you would look far more suitable behind the controls of a Hawker Tempest:)

Thanks for being honest, thats why we all like you respect you, you were just the unlucky one getting caught to prove they were being serious with the speed rules.
You were saying in one of your entries about using a 24 litre tank on the bike do you use bafles inside the tanks to prevent surge? Is it the movement thats the problem or the weight?
Keep it real the TV coverage has been spectacular and the win carnt be far away.
    All the best,
    Rob.
